In a month’s time, I’ll be in Rome spending a week with my family in celebration of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. I can’t believe this will be my fourth trip to Italy, and my second time to Rome. Prior trips were of the 24-hour variety, so this will be the first time I’ll get to fully take things in by luxuriating in an entire week there. I can’t wait. And if you have restaurant recommendations, please let me know. Nothing too touristy, please. :)
Anyway, the packing list has started formulating in my mind, headed first and foremost by plenty of comfortable footwear and lots of light layers. The rest will sort itself out, and a few pieces here are coming (shop them all my finds together here):
01.
Lulu & Georgia has launched the latest collection from designer Sarah Sherman Samuel. Her whimsical POV is so fun, and this dining chair is adorable. That blue! ($448)
02.
I love these fun “Thought Plates” by artist Rhea Kalo at Maison Flaneur, specifically number 16 ($41).
03.
These intaglio gift tags ($18) by Porta are so funny. Why not inject a little Classicism into things?
04.
I snagged this crossbody bag ($102) when it came back in stock from Quince. It’s perfect for spending a day out and about.
05.
When did paper plates get so chic? Table Two Studio has done it. I will definitely be bookmarking these for a future event.
06.
If I use post-its for on-the-fly to-do lists, they might as well be fancy, right? Once again: Porta ($58).
07.
Very cute stone flower earrings from Roxanne Assoulin’s newest drop ($130).
08.
A breezy trapeze dress I bought on sale at Banana Republic for this aforementioned trip. Airflow is key. Ha! ($150 for a limited time).
09.
Sleek woven sneakers by Naghedi ($335). I’m loving this type of profile lately.
10.
Another goodie by Sarah Sherman Samuel for Lulu & Georgia—the long bolster would be so fun on my guest bed. This print is fantastic, and comes in sheets, curtains, wallpaper, etc. as well.
Thank you for being here,
