Worth Noting Vol. 18

Hi hello, I know it’s still August (barely) but my eyes are creeping towards darker shades and cozy textures. And I shall not apologize.

My barometer for what’s next: I look at what the models show up to set in. Right now it’s pleated loafers. Very Parisian, kinda chic. I love these from Madewell (the color!) And the price is also great.

02.
I just bought the small version of these wooden shelves (2) for the wall next to my stove. It’s a tiny spot, and these will be perfect to house salt, pepper, etc. They’d also be great in a bathroom. I love how natural wood warms up a space.

This quilted jacket from Hill House is beautiful. I love the length as well. This cropped version from Madewell is also a cute option.

These fun bottle stoppers could be a sophisticated host/hostess gift for your Halloween-obsessed friends and family (or you).

Faux hydrangea stems caught my eye at Pottery Barn for the color. I’m definitely adding to my rotating stash.

Look at these very cute wicker vases (they have glass inserts) by McGee & Co. I want the tall 15” and 10.25” because I think the pairing is fun. The shapes are fantastic.

My interiors idol Heidi Callier has yet another collection out with Joon Loloi. This floral wool rug is so beautiful. I love the pops of blush. Maybe it’s an option for my home office? I have this one in my bedroom.

I just ordered this serum ($32). I found it via the skincare and beauty industry vet Dina Fierro, so I trust her advice implicitly.

I recently picked up a couple of these basket bags ($50!) from Porta—one for me, one to house a few small wrapped gifts for a friend. Cute.

It’s getting to be layering weather (at least in the mornings), and I’m eyeing this textured cardigan by J.Crew. Hopefully their Labor Day sale offers up a discount… I’ll be staying tuned.
