Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

Note to Self began in 2009 as a simple blog dedicated to that which we loved at first sight. It’s written by me, Sarah D. Tolzmann, a Brand Creative Director by day, and an interiors, culinary, art, history, and pop culture enthusiast always. In this corner of the internet, I share inspiration, recent discoveries, and the pleasure of pausing to appreciate what delights us. I think it goes without saying that we all need a little joy these days, and my hope is that this work brings some of that to you, even in the smallest way.

FAQ

What do I get if I’m a free subscriber?

You’ll receive a weekly post featuring stories, items, or ideas that have caught my eye. Occasionally, you’ll also get a peek into content that goes out to paid subscribers.

What do I get if I’m a paid subscriber?

More personal content
(my house updates, behind-the-scenes at my full-time job, essays, etc.)
Expanded edits, and extra tid-bits
My love and affection

If you choose to upgrade, thank you. Your support is generous and I will always be grateful. And of course, if you remain a free reader, I’m just happy you found me. I mean it. No pressure at all.

When do you publish posts?

Still figuring it out! My work schedule is a bit unpredictable, but I will always aim to send out a post weekly, plus additional paid content biweekly. In the off chance that I miss the ship, just know I’ll make it up to you.

P.S. If you don’t see my newsletters, be sure to check your Promotions or Spam folders.
Pro tip: Moving my emails to your main inbox, adding me to your contacts, or even replying to a newsletter will help train your inbox to recognize them.
