As the year winds down, I find myself temporarily disinterested in Christmas. This is the unspoken downside of working in the fashion industry, where “Holiday” has been on the mind and the to-do list since early February, when we first photographed the line for market. The lifestyle imagery was shot over the summer, and ever since I’ve been knocking out marketing for a season I am trying to remind myself to save brain space to celebrate. The upcoming time off and annual viewings of It Happened on 5th Avenue, The Family Stone, and The Preacher’s Wife will certainly do the trick! I look forward to it.
Until then: here’s a bit of a palette cleanser. Behold, this week’s offering of beautiful things, which you can shop all together here:
A very cute textured top that I want to wear into spring by Polo Ralph Lauren
Not that I need another candle, (oh God, I have an entire drawer full!) but if I did, this Marie Antoinette bust is silly and chic.
Always on the hunt for more art, I like this study of a Greek urn. It’s giving Art History major (that would be me.)
A pretty catch-all stone tray.
This handbag brand has my wish list in a chokehold. And relatively speaking, the prices are not absolutely insane for such a classic look (sorry to Celine.)
These candlesticks are absolutely stunning, and would make a lovely gift.
Pretty terracotta red linen napkins. One can never have enough cloth napkins in my opinion.
This ceramic tulipiere is so fun. I’m new to Wentworth, a Charleston-based store that reads like a historically-minded eccentric’s box of tricks. I want everything, including this set of vintage chairs, and (yet another) beautiful candle. The vessel is fantastic.
And finally—key for winter—a soap and moisturizer set that matches style with function, and smells like grapefruit and lemongrass.
Thank you for being here!
