Worth Noting Vol. 17
Physically sweating profusely, spiritually ready to start thinking about fall...
Hello fine people of the internet, and welcome to another chapter of finds and road tested recommendations from yours truly. I feel like the shopping is very good right now looking forward to fall. Not pictured here, but worth mentioning is the Rosie Assoulin x Target collab, from which I snagged this midi skirt and these pants. (Sometimes you just want a fun pant.) Great stuff! Runs a little big, I would say.
Anyway, more good things below. And as always, you can shop everything in one place over on yee olde ShopMy storefront.
01.
For future consideration: not one but two chocolate brown embroidered jackets from H&M: both the button front and wrap style are great.
02.
Banana Republic continues to capture my attention. Right now, I have this pretty blouse on my wish list.
03.
West Elm’s latest Pierce & Ward collection is fantastic. I have this nightstand already, but am eyeing many of the new pieces: This table lamp, round side table, a sculptural floating shelf, wooden flush mount light, and the tramp art mirror. So many good things.
04.
I picked up this set of wooden frames from Target and they’re beautiful IRL.
05.
East Fork’s new painted pieces are lovely.
06.
This leather trimmed raffia clutch is adorable, timeless, and reasonably priced. The trifecta!
07.
Flamingo Estate’s new fig balsamic vinegar looks intriguing, as does their new book, Pleasure Principals.
08.
Hostess gift idea: these very cute raffia coasters.
09.
More Pierce & Ward goodness: a very cute luggage rack that would look great in my guest room.
10.
A new book focused on inns in the Northeast? Yes, please. Lorelai Gilmore would love this: The Inn Crowd: Artistic Getaways and the Modern Innkeepers Who Crafted Them.
11.
I wish I’d found these sandals earlier in the summer, because they’re so comfortable—like much chicer Tevas.
12.
J.Crew’s August collection is hit or miss for me, but I’m thrilled to see they took my favorite spring Painter Pant style and made it into a jean! Yes, please. Also, are oxfords back? Maybe.
Thank you for being here,
