Travel Diary: Bermuda
A by-no-means-definitive look at the Atlantic's loneliest and loveliest isle
For the third year counting, I began the planning of my company’s Spring photo shoot by looking for a location that has a few distinct “looks,” and delivers on the annual fantasy of starting fresh. An ocean, sandy beaches, lush greenery, and interesting architecture are required, as is staying within our very scrappy budget. In 2023, we shot in Sarasota at The Ringling and Siesta Key. In 2024, we sweat through photographing Puerto Rico’s Old San Juan streets, grassy forts, and dramatic beaches. And in 2025, I picked Bermuda, where we traveled from one end of the island to the other, covering quite a bit of ground in between.
