Could this little New York spread be any cuter? Back in July, Jane and I worked on Matchbook layouts over takeout and moving boxes in this same space. Needless to say, it looked quite a bit different back then, which is a significant testament to both her taste and talent. Bravo, Jane!

Better late than never! Last Thursday I had the pleasure of not only working with Rima Campbell and the ever-wonderful Jane Lilly Warren on two Matchbook photo shoots (just you wait and see!) but I also got to meet up with blogger friends Mackenzie of Design Darling, Alex of Dreams & Jeans, and Sarah of Chevrons & Stripes.
From sushi lunch, shoots and coffee on the Upper East Side, to John Derian, drinks and dinner at Peel's in the Bowery, we had a grand old time. I hope you enjoy the fun tid-bits about these talented ladies.
Did I mention I can't wait to live in NYC again? ;)

When it comes to 2011, I don't really know where to start. So much has changed in a short period of time (and all for the best, which is a true blessing!) I've met some really great people, worked towards wonderful opportunities, and been challenged beyond belief in grad school.
I must say a big thank you to Jane and Katie for welcoming me into the Matchbook team in May (best birthday present ever!) Since then, it has become my "happy place" in the midst of the chaos that is life. It's a pleasure to learn from them every month.
And of course, let me say thank you to you for supporting me and this little endeavor. Note to Self has changed a lot over the past couple of years, but I feel like it's finally going in a good direction. I'm flattered to have you along for the journey and I am appreciative of every comment, tweet, email or share. You make me smile every day!
I wish you all a wonderful New Year's Eve. Consider this a virtual "clink" between our champagne glasses. See you in 2012!
