I find dressing for work rather difficult (strike that – dressing in general), but I stumbled across this image of Elena from Classy & Fabulous sporting an accessible option for would-be office wear. It should go without saying that classic top-to-bottom navy and/or black is always a good choice, but sometimes you have to see it in a new light. Hers/Mine saves the day once more...

I love this look (photo by Phil Oh in Paris.) I think everyone has some variation of these basics in their closet, and because of the simplicity and comfort they afford, it's just perfect for your weekend style. Farmer's market or stroll to the coffee shop, anyone?

I love fall for many reasons, especially because the start of the season means it's acceptable to wear tartan again. While the lovely Andy's punkier version (Style Scrapbook) is not my personal style, I really like her thought process. More tartan, please, retailers.
