I don't know how many times I've stalked Sézane's beautiful website. Web design-wise, it's pretty snazzy. Product-wise, it's even better. I've been drooling over these boots for some time, and imagine my surprise—nay, delight—that Madewell has made them available stateside. Bonjour, new fall footwear (etc.)!

Oh hey, old favorite style column. Glad to see you again.
This look! I love how clean and chic it is, but the best part is the simplicity—a blank canvas top and bottom, a seasonal jacket, interchangeable shoes and accessories. This is a uniform, and I'm all about that concept these days. Let's be real: this is exactly what one needs when tearing through their closet at 7 o'clock in the morning throwing a "I have nothing to wear!" mental tantrum. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything... Ahem.
(Hers &) MINE: To create it, try a [not pictured] Downtown field jacket, J.Crew $148 (or maybe a Schoolboy Blazer?) on for size with a delicate circle necklace, Jennifer Zeuner $135 over a cozy, comfy lightweight sweater. Maybe this Equipment FR Sloane cashmere sweater $270 (or A.P.C. alternate $215)? And of course, white skimmer jeans, Gap $27 (or even Madewell Rail Straight jeans $98). Yes, her classic navy pumps are great. But I'd probably opt for something a little more wild, like these cool Arabelle D'Orsay flats, Anthropologie $225. And I think I might have to snatch up this convertible hobo and cross-body bag, J.Crew $238 in the 30% off sale. It's so versatile!
