Congratulations! You have survived the world's longest photo collage. Now you know how I felt: Overwhelmed! Am I getting ahead of myself? In case it wasn't clear from my Twitter/Instagram feeds, for the past two days I've been at the IFB Conference in the city. If anything, it confirmed my suspicions: I am definitely not a fashion blogger. I can dress other people, sure - but my boring chambray and black matchsticks were no match for what my fellow attendees were sporting. These ladies were out to impress, and more power to them! The people watching was excellent. So thanks for that, ladies.
But "fashion blogging" wasn't my incentive for attending. I was really there to meet some longtime favorites like Erin, Kate and Bri. Yes it was fun, but definitely had a very, very different vibe from ALT Summit a few weeks ago. And two full days of conference is a lot. For anyone. Especially a socially awkward geek like me. I'll just stick to making things, okay? At the ripe old age of 27, I think I know my strengths...
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed these little tidbits from what was a jam-packed blogfest-y experience. Enjoy the rest of your week... The entire day of it. I promise I'll post a couple other things to make up for my slacking off!
